Paint Protection is initially used on new vehicle’s bought straight from the dealership. However, it can be applied at any point during your vehicle’s life and should be topped up yearly then looked after with regular valeting.
Paint Protection has been developed to protect your vehicle’s paintwork. Hence it is not called New Car Paint Protection / Sealant. Many people think Paint Protection can only be applied when the vehicle is brand new. This is incorrect, it can be applied at anytime of the vehicles life as long as the paintwork has been prepared properly. This will then give a new lease of life and lustre to the colour and shine of your vehicle.
If you have recently bought a vehicle you really love and are aiming to own it for a few years. Having the paintwork protected with a high end sealant should be just a matter of course. This will keep you car looking great longer than not having it protected.
There are many Vehicle Paint Protection systems the market. The usual products used are Life Shine from Autoglym, Silver Seal from Autosmart, Supagard or Diamond Brite and Gardx. There are now many paint sealants which you can buy from shops like Halfords which are just as good if not better than the highly advertised well known products.
Over the years we have applied all of the above and many more not so well known very high end sealants. All systems will make your vehicle look great and protect the paint work very well from UV and road grime. However they all have different costs and take different times to apply them. So can slightly differ in price.
